  3.     Despite your sour Grapevine item saying I am not optimistic
  4. about finding MIAs in Southeast Asia (NATION, Sept. 11), my
  5. investigation is far from complete. In fact, only in the past
  6. year have we begun to have the sort of cooperation from the
  7. Vietnamese government that will enable us to find answers about
  8. the fate of the missing. The work goes on.
